Continuing from the previous piece; Nissan and Renault have just agreed to an alliance, the Nissan Renault Alliance. One of Ghosn’s first act after being appointed COO of Nissan, being tasked to run the show, Ghosn formed 7 Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) to first analyse and study the problems Nissan was facing and come up with a plan that would bring Nissan back from the brink of bankruptcy.
